Bio Pic - Deborah

I have learned over the years that clients cannot begin to feel better until they are willing to give themselves permission.  For many years I have been helping clients identify and overcome obstacles so they can begin to live their “best lives”.  I retired in 2018 from my career as civilian social worker for the United States Army. It was such an honor to serve those who repeatedly placed themselves in harms way, to protect all of us.  In the past year I started working with civilian clients through tele-health therapy.  The tele-health platform allows the opportunity for reaching those who might, otherwise, never seek treatment due to reasons such as distance, limited time between work and home responsibilities, discomfort with entering any therapy office, and/or or due to continued need for social distancing. I utilize a HIPPA supported tele-health platform. Each client can be granted access to private tele-mental health sessions while remaining inside the security and comfort of your own home, or perhaps during the office lunch break. I offer morning, evening, and limited weekend appointments.

My practice incorporates an eclectic approach, based upon many years of training in multiple treatment modalities. I incorporate a holistic perspective from a mind, body, and spiritual connection. Were you aware that the chemistry of your brain is altered when you think and act in a manner that is consistent with positive thoughts?

The pandemic, world events, and personal tragedies affect us all. You may have experienced a natural disaster, death of someone close, or other specific trauma. No matter how long you have been merely surviving, if you cannot move past it, then give me a call. It is never too late to start feeling better.
