Telehealth allows us to connect anywhere with secure and convenient appointments that save you time and hassle. There’s no need to deal with traffic when you can schedule and attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device.
What equipment do I need?
To participate in Telehealth appointments from your home, you will one of the following devices:
- Desktop computer with a webcam and speakers
- Laptop computer with built-in webcam and speakers
- Tablet device with built-in webcam and speakers
You will also need an internet connection that is at least 10mbps. For optimal results, a reliable, high-speed internet connection with a bandwidth of at least 10 mbps will minimize connection issues and provide the best quality.

Teletherapy is suitable for most situations. The appropriateness of teletherapy for your situation is discussed as a part of the scheduling process and during your initial appointment with your provider.
Does telehealth services comply with established standards?
The American Telehealth Association has developed protocols for telehealth as have most insurance companies. Landmark Therapy telehealth services meet or exceed these established standards.
How do you maintain confidentiality and privacy of sessions?
The company utilized to provide the video connection for teletherapy has established protocols to assure that all communication is confidential. Landmark Therapy has also taken precautions to make sure all communications are conducted in a secure and confidential manner.
How much does Teletherapy cost?
Your cost for teletherapy, like traditional face to face therapy, can vary depending on the coverage you have with your insurance provider. Most insurances charge a copayment for teletherapy just like traditional therapy. Our scheduling staff will assist you in determining your benefit, so you are aware of charges before your first appointment.
Do you accept insurance?

Who do I call between sessions if I have questions?
Your therapist will provide a number for you to call between sessions if you have questions. It is important for you to know that your therapist will only communicate with you via phone between sessions and will not email or text as it is not possible to ensure confidentiality through these forms of communication. If you are feeling like harming yourself, believe you might harm someone else, or are in any other life threatening situation, it is important for you to call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
